About Us

History

Rick Ebbinge Racing was born from a dream. After a successful career as the first driver for a Dutch training facility, Rick wanted to take the next step: becoming a trainer himself. Opportunities in the Netherlands were limited, so Rick chose Sweden – a country where he had already gained valuable experience.

The current training stable began in Sweden in 2022. Rick did have a sole proprietorship in the Netherlands, but that mainly involved driving horses in races. The actual development of his own training operation started in Sweden.

Mission

We aim to get the best out of every horse in an honest and sustainable way. Quality comes before quantity. The well-being of our horses both physical and mental is always our top priority.

Vision

In the long term, we aim to grow into a stable with around 30 horses, happy staff, and satisfied owners. Our goal is to achieve a high win percentage through thoughtful training, patience, and expert care.

The Team

Rick

Head Trainer & Driver

Rick is the driving force behind the stable. As a 7-time national champion in the Netherlands and double World Driving Champion (2019 & 2023), he brings world-class experience and vision to every aspect of training. Rick is responsible for all training programs and drives most of the races himself.

Evy

Operations & Administration

Evy is Rick’s partner and plays a key role behind the scenes. She supports the daily stable work and is also responsible for all administrative and organizational tasks within the company – keeping everything running smoothly.

Daisy

Groom & Apprentice Driver

Daisy is a full-time groom who takes care of the horses with passion and precision. She helps with training, travels to races, and occasionally takes the reins herself. In 2019, she became the apprentice champion of the Netherlands.
